Roaches vs Crickets

Picture
Blaberus discoids are a great feeder roach. Adults can reach up to 2 inches. Once they reach adulthood they can live up to 18 months.  They have no strong odor and they cannot fly or climb smooth surfaces. They are a  great feeder insect because of their shell to meat ratio.  These feeder insects are live bearers, easy keepers, and very good breeders!

Roach VS Crickets
Since crickets are used alot by reptile owners, I will explain the pros of each and you will see why the roach is the best food for reptiles.
